  • Drive quality engineering by authoring and maintaining automated unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) test scripts.

  • Develop comprehensive test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium , Playwright , JUnit , Mockito , or Jest .

  • Perform actual hands-on functional, regression, API, and performance testing across staging and production-like environments.

  • Partner with Quality Assurance (QA) and DevOps teams to integrate automated test suites directly into CI/CD release pipelines.

3. Security & Defensive Engineering

  • Practice secure and defensive coding by default across all layers of the architecture.

  • Proactively identify, prevent, and remediate security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10, CWEs, injection vectors, broken access controls).

  • Implement enterprise-grade authentication/authorization (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT), data sanitization, and secure communication protocols.

4. Observability, Debugging & Operational Support

  • Utilize Splunk , distributed tracing, and APM tools to monitor system health, analyze performance bottlenecks, and rapidly troubleshoot production incidents.

  • Support scheduled weekend production deployment windows and participate in rotational release validations.

  • Conduct thorough post-deployment verifications, root cause analyses, and operational runbook enhancements.

5. Collaboration & Team Culture

  • Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, QA Analysts, and Solutions Architects in an Agile/Scrum environment.

  • Champion code reviews, mentoring, and technical knowledge sharing.

  • Foster an inclusive, high-trust environment with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years in an Apps Development role. Demonstrated execution capabilities.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Data driven and results-oriented

  • Experience in running high traffic, distributed, cloud based services

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
