Desktop Support Technician

What You will be Doing:

This is essentially a desktop support / field services role.

The contractors will support employees with day-to-day technology issues, including:

Troubleshooting hardware and software issues

Providing hands-on end-user support

Answering support calls and gathering information from users

Diagnosing issues and determining the appropriate resolution

Resolving straightforward technical issues independently

Escalating more complex problems to the appropriate IS teams

Creating, updating, and following up on support tickets

Keeping end users informed throughout issue resolution

Supporting users with technology-related questions

Helping identify whether issues are hardware, software, configuration, or training related

Maintaining accurate time and ticket documentation

Sharing troubleshooting knowledge with teammates

Providing strong customer service in a healthcare setting

Ideal Candidate Profile

I would target candidates with roughly 1 to 3+ years of desktop support, field service, deskside support, or IT support experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
