Merchandise Supervisor (Part- Time) Toledo Zoo & Aquarium The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium has been educating, inspiring, and providing enjoyment to our community for over 100 years. Our Merchandise department is currently seeking a part-time Merchandise Supervisor who is passionate about learning new things and giving our guests the best possible experience. Come and be a part of an organization where you can work and have fun at the same time! This role is responsible for the oversight and scheduling of subordinate merchandise personnel. In addition, this individual will communicate/assign daily tasks to accomplish department's planned goals and ensure adequate inventory levels. The ideal candidate will promote a positive environment while supporting/training team members to achieve excellent experience for our guests. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Merchandise and is part- time, non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Minimum Training & Qualifications: · Must be 18+ Years of age · A High school diploma or GED equivalent is required · Previous personnel supervision experience required. · Counterpoint register system and Inventory control experience is required. · Proficiency in basic math skills. · Excellent communication and listening skills. · Ability to learn and execute a concept, multitask and delegate. · Must have the physical ability to lift 35 pounds, work on your feet, and be able to walk the Zoo grounds for several hours at a time. ·[ Individuals may also be exposed to inclement w ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
