Full job description

Altana is the network for trusted trade. Our AI-powered product network empowers governments and businesses to build a more resilient and secure global economy while keeping trade flowing. The Opportunity at AltanaAbout the TeamLogistics Service Providers (LSPs) sit at the center of global trade. Freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and 3PLs touch millions of shipments and connect shippers, suppliers, and governments. The LSP Platform team builds the products that let these companies run on Altana's network, so they can screen and clear shipments faster, protect their customers from risk and delays, and offer new trade intelligence services to the shippers they serve. About the RoleAs an Agent Product Manager, you'll be working closely with our strategic LSP customers in-country, working from their offices, alongside their brokers, compliance analysts, operations leads, and IT teams. You are the product owner for Altana within the account: you understand how their business actually runs, decide what Altana should do for them, and make sure it gets deployed, adopted, and expanded. You'll partner closely with our Technical Account Managers to set the strategic direction and roadmap for each account. Together, you'll define where Altana fits in the customer's operations today, where it should go over the next 12 to 24 months, and what it takes to get there. You own the product vision for the account and the outcomes it produces. You Will Work onsite with customers. Spend significant time at customer sites, learning their business models, operations, and customer relationships across forwarding, brokerage, and carriage, including the workarounds nobody writes down. Build a deep understanding of LSP business models, operations, and customer relationships across forwarding, brokerage, and carriage, and turn that into clear product priorities. Set success metrics tied to customer impact, such as fewer holds and detentions, faster clearance, lower compliance cost, and new revenue for LSPs. Track progress against them. Obsess over the end-user experience of brokers, compliance analysts, and operations teams who work at high volume under time pressure. Work with our Enterprise and Public Sector product teams so that what shippers submit, what LSPs process, and what governments receive tells a coherent, trusted story. Spend real time with customers through discovery, design partnerships, pilots, and post-launch feedback. Bring that insight back to the team. Write clear requirements engineers can build from, and prototype with AI to test ideas before production code is written. Who you areYou've shipped B2B products that customers rely on. You have 5+ years of product management experience, ideally on data-intensive, API-driven, or workflow products for enterprise customers. You're relentlessly curious. You don't need to arrive as a logistics expert, but you're eager to become one. You love learning how a complex industry really works: the people, the incentives, the systems, and the workarounds nobody writes down. You ask the next question and the one after that. You want to be side by side with customers. You'd rather sit next to a broker clearing a shipment than read a summary of the problem. You build trust with customers by showing up, listening closely, and coming back with something that works. You treat them as partners in building the product. You own and drive outcomes. Shipping a feature is the start, not the finish. You define success by the difference you make for customers, track it, and keep iterating until the product delivers. When something isn't working, you take ownership and fix it. You're technical enough to own the plumbing. You're comfortable with APIs, EDI, ETL/ELT, JSON, and integration architecture, and can go deep with engineers and customer IT teams. You're obsessed with UX. You hate clunky integrations and high-friction workflows, and believe complex processes can feel simple. You thrive wo
