Description
Are you ready to transform how Amazon delivers groceries to customers across North America? Join the Rapid and Rural Logistics organization where you'll tackle complex, high-impact problems at scale. This role puts you at the center of Amazon Grocery delivery execution, where your strategic thinking and analytical skills will directly improve the shopping experience for millions of customers.
As a Program Manager, you'll drive end-to-end program ownership for initiatives spanning a wide range of stores across North America. You'll work backwards from customer needs, diving deep into operational challenges and scaling innovative solutions that enhance delivery speed, reliability, and reach. If you're passionate about solving ambiguous business problems through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how customers receive their groceries.
Key job responsibilities
-
Manage and prioritize complex, cross-functional program life-cycles that improve Amazon Grocery delivery execution across multiple stores in North America, driving results that impact operations and customer experience
-
Proactively identify operational improvement opportunities by analyzing performance data, diving deep into delivery trends, and defining scalable solutions that address systemic challenges across the logistics network
-
Collaborate tactically with product, operations, engineering, and field teams to align stakeholder needs, remove blockers, and deliver program milestones on time while managing dependencies and mitigating risks
-
Define program scope and objectives for new initiatives, establishing key performance indicators and tracking mechanisms to measure progress and quantify impact with data-driven insights
-
Communicate program status and strategic trade-offs clearly to stakeholders at all levels through business reviews, working documentation, and escalations when needed to accelerate decision-making and maintain alignment
A day in the life
You'll start your day analyzing delivery performance metrics across stores, identifying trends that signal opportunities for improvement. Throughout the day, you'll facilitate alignment sessions with cross-functional partners—operations teams, engineers, and field leaders—to scope solutions and clear blockers. You'll spend time diving deep into root causes of delivery challenges, translating complex data into actionable insights. Between stakeholder updates and strategic planning sessions, you'll proactively reach out to partner teams to ensure programs stay on track and risks are mitigated before they impact customers.
