Job Description:

• The AI Developer 1 is an early-career engineer responsible for contributing to the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions under the guidance of senior team members.

• This role focuses on developing foundational technical skills by assisting with data preparation, feature engineering, model evaluation, and implementing algorithms using established frameworks.

• The AI Developer 1 also develops, tests, and maintains ML models and AI-driven features; writes clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; collaborates with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers; debugs issues; and participates in code reviews.

• Candidates typically have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, 0-5 years of software development or AI/ML experience, including exposure to agentic and generative AI systems, strong Python proficiency, familiarity with data structures, algorithms, version control, and possess strong problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn.

• We are seeking a motivated and innovative AI Developer I Contractor to support the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI-powered solutions.

• The contractor will work alongside internal AI engineers, software developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver intelligent applications, automation capabilities, and AI-driven business solutions that support strategic initiatives.

• The ideal candidate will possess strong Python development skills, experience working with modern AI technologies, and the ability to quickly learn business processes while contributing to enterprise AI projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and deployment of solutions using AI.

• Support data preparation, cleansing, transformation, and feature engineering activities.

• Develop, test, and maintain AI-driven application features and machine learning models.

• Build proof-of-concepts and production-ready solutions utilizing Generative AI, Agentic AI systems, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Prompt Engineering.

• Implement algorithms using industry-standard AI and machine learning frameworks.

• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within AI solutions and supporting data pipelines.

• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.

• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code.

• Support AI model deployment, monitoring, tuning, and lifecycle management.

• Assist in the integration of AI capabilities with enterprise applications and cloud platforms.

• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.

Experience:

• 0 to 5 years of experience in software development, AI, machine learning, data science, or related technical roles.

Skillsets:

• Strong proficiency in Python.

• Understanding of data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming, REST APIs, and software development lifecycle methodologies.

• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, model development, and model evaluation techniques.

• Exposure to Generative AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or AI orchestration frameworks.

• Experience using source control systems such as Git.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with one or more of the following: Clienture OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic Claude, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.

• Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, RAG architectures, and AI agents.

• Experience working in AWS or Clienture cloud environments.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications and business workflows.

• Understanding of responsible AI, model governance, and AI security principles.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.
