Standard Job Description
The Production Integrator plays a critical role in the program by the leading the tactical execution team on the floor, known as the Vehicle Integration Team (VIT). The Production Integrator is an independent and capable Engineer that can lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers through the assembly process of their assigned VIT.
Specific Job Duties:

This is primarily a 1st shift position but can require occasional support on alternate shifts

Raise awareness for schedule impacts
-
Work cross-functionally with all areas of the program to support integration of vehicle assembly

Schedule vehicle assembly with evolving priorities
-
Adjudicate any parts or engineering issues that arise during integration efforts
-
Document issues and work to resolve them with applicable stakeholders

Maintain a lessons learned database

This position is supporting the CM/CSM 5 VIT Team at KSC ATLO Orion
The information below reflects the standard job description for this position:
Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings

Must be able to understand engineering specifications

Must be able to understand test requirements

Must be a United States citizen

Experience in Microsoft Project

Minimum of 1 year of Orion experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
