Financial Analyst

Description

We are looking for a Process Analyst. This role supports the improvement of core finance operations by examining workflows, strengthening controls, and helping teams work more efficiently across key accounting functions. The position is well suited for someone who combines analytical thinking with a solid accounting background and enjoys contributing to process-focused projects. You will collaborate with finance and business partners to enhance reporting quality, support operational effectiveness, and drive measurable improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate finance workflows across receivables, payables, and general accounting to identify opportunities for better accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to recommend and implement process enhancements that strengthen daily financial operations.

• Perform financial analysis, variance reviews, and ad hoc reporting to support decision-making and highlight operational trends.

• Develop and refine financial models that help assess performance, forecast outcomes, and guide process improvement efforts.

• Use data analysis techniques to examine transaction patterns, uncover exceptions, and support issue resolution.

• Assist with projects involving automation, reporting enhancements, and finance-related system improvements.

• Support the design of practical controls and documentation that improve compliance and reinforce reliable financial reporting.

• Contribute to project-based initiatives by tracking progress, coordinating with business partners, and helping deliver process transformation goals.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial operations.

• Experience with financial analysis, financial modeling, and variance analysis.

• Ability to perform ad hoc analysis and interpret data to support business decisions.

• Proficiency in data mining and working with large sets of financial information.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across finance and operational teams.

• Demonstrated interest in process improvement, project-based work, and operational excellence.
