Our client, a leading Life Sciences and Analytical Testing organization , is seeking a QC Lead Scientist to join their team. As a QC Lead Scientist, you will be part of the Quality Control Laboratory supporting the Analytical Testing and Quality Operations teams . The ideal candidate will have strong analytical problem-solving skills, technical leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills , which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QC Lead Scientist

Location: Round Rock, TX

Pay Range: $41.88 - $47.86/hour

What's the Job?

  • Perform analytical testing of finished products, raw materials, custom projects, and in-process samples.

  • Lead and support Out of Specification (OOS) investigations and author investigation reports.

  • Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods and testing procedures.

  • Perform qualification, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of analytical instruments.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.

What's Needed?

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry or a related Life Sciences field.

  • 4+ years of analytical laboratory experience (required for BS/MS candidates) in a regulated environment.

  • Experience with analytical testing, method development, and method validation.

  • Knowledge of GMP, GLP, ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and/or ISO 17034 quality systems.

  • Strong technical writing skills with experience authoring SOPs, validation reports, and OOS investigations.
