Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide quality care and assistance to a client in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be patient, attentive, reliable, and committed to helping clients maintain their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence.

This position is ideal for an experienced caregiver looking for a consistent weekday daytime schedule. The selected candidate must be available to begin working immediately and must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, as needed.

• Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Assist with mobility, walking, transferring, and positioning, as appropriate to the client's care plan.

• Prepare meals and provide assistance with feeding, if needed.

• Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care, including tidying the living area and maintaining a clean environment.

• Provide medication reminders, as authorized and permitted by applicable requirements.

• Observe and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, or daily needs.

• Follow the client's care plan and all applicable safety and infection-control procedures.

• Maintain client confidentiality and treat every client with respect and dignity.

• Communicate professionally with the appropriate family members or care team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional caregiving experience required.

• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts.

• Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM.

• Must be willing and able to start immediately.

• Must demonstrate patience, compassion, dependability, and professionalism.

• Must be comfortable assisting clients with personal care and daily living activities.

• Must be able to follow instructions and communicate effectively.

• Must meet applicable employer screening and documentation requirements.

Accepted Certifications

We welcome applicants with the following credentials:

• Home Health Aide (HHA)

• Personal Care Assistant/Aide (PCA)

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

PCA or CNA certification is a plus. Qualified HHA applicants are encouraged to apply.
