Full job description
At Quantcast, we don't just build advertising technology, we revolutionize how it works. Our AI-powered Demand Side Platform (DSP) connects the world's most ambitious marketers with their ideal audiences across the open internet, delivering results that actually move the needle. Since 2006, we've been the industry's trailblazer, launching the first AI-powered measurement platform for publishers and the first AI-driven DSP. Our AI doesn't just optimize—it delivers the measurable outcomes that matter most to our clients, giving them the competitive edge they need in a crowded marketplace. Ready to join the team that's defining the future of digital advertising?
As a Principal Product Manager, you will own zero-to-one macro-bets and massive architectural shifts. Operating at the highest levels of individual contribution, you will navigate extreme ambiguity and define the strategic direction for major experimental product lines, acting as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) on adtech trends. You will serve as the strategic hub across Product and Go-To-Market (GTM) functions without relying on formal authority, crafting visionary company-level narratives that drive step-function growth.
What You'll Do
- Strategic Alignment: Align with Product Managers, Commercial, and Senior Leaders to drive the product strategy for your given product(s).
- Organizational Communication: Communicate strategy and product status crisply to the broader organization, including authoring company-level narratives and persuading the ELT.
- Client & Market Engagement: Meet with clients to deeply enhance your understanding of the marketplace and target markets, representing Quantcast with a credible voice externally.
- Strategy: Develop a strong perspective on your product strategy, defining the 1 year strategic direction for major product lines and macro-bets.
- Drive 0-to-1 Initiatives: Identify where ownership is needed and take complete accountability for complex, cross-team architectures from inception to transformative commercial outcomes.
- Process Optimization: Clarify and identify structural process improvements to senior leadership, acting as a force multiplier for the entire product organization.
- Industry Networking: Grow, maintain, and utilize a broad Ad Tech network while building strong, strategic relationships with external vendors and partners.
Who You Are
- B.S./B.A. or the World equivalent.
- 10-12 years of experience in a technology-driven company, preferably ad tech, as a Product Manager (or 5+ years of experience if holding an M.B.A. or equivalent).
- Deep expertise around performance marketing, attribution and measurement, and insights is strongly desired.
- Preferred: 4-5 years of client experience in a B2B, B2C, or B2B2C space.
- Product Management certification is highly ideal.
Core Skills & Competencies
- Executive Persuasion & Influence: You are an exceptional public speaker and narrative builder who can effortlessly align the ELT, commercial leaders, and engineering around a bold product vision.
- 0-to-1 Commercialization: You have a proven track record of taking complex, high-ambiguity concepts from initial discovery to commercial success.
- Strategic Balancing: You are masterful at balancing short-term commercial goals against long-term technical health, privacy shifts, and adtech ecosystem changes.
- Technical Depth: You possess a deep understanding of data, algorithmic capabilities, and how to utilize AI workflows to accelerate discovery and execution.
- Organizational Force Multiplier: You have the ability to establish frameworks and processes that elevate the quality and velocity of PM peers without needing direct management authority.
- Business Acumen: You use rigorous analytical and root-cause analysis to resolve complex, systemic business bottlenecks and navigate massive organizational ambiguity.
