Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Mortgage Processor to join a Contract position supporting residential lending operations. In this role, you will guide mortgage files from approval through closing and funding, ensuring documentation is complete, timelines are met, and all work aligns with lending regulations and internal standards. This opportunity is well suited for someone who can balance accuracy, responsiveness, and strong customer service in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:

Manage residential mortgage files through the post-approval process, overseeing each step through closing and final funding.

Examine loan packages for accuracy, completeness, and readiness, and resolve missing or inconsistent documentation promptly.

Create, review, and distribute required mortgage disclosures and closing documents, including Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures.

Partner with borrowers, loan officers, attorneys, title agencies, and internal teams to keep transactions moving on schedule.

Monitor regulatory and policy adherence throughout the loan lifecycle, including compliance with TRID, RESPA, and applicable lending guidelines.

Track outstanding conditions, request supporting items, and follow up with stakeholders to clear files for closing.

Assist with funding coordination and complete post-closing reviews to confirm all required materials are properly recorded.

Maintain organized and current loan information within the loan origination system while delivering a high standard of service to customers
Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree is preferred.

At least 2 years of experience in mortgage processing, loan administration, closing, or funding.

Practical knowledge of residential mortgage products, including conventional and FHA loans.

Hands-on experience preparing or reviewing Loan Estimates, Closing Disclosures, and TRID-related documentation.

Solid understanding of mortgage file documentation, compliance review, and closing requirements.

Ability to interpret lending forms, contracts, disclosures, procedures, and regulatory guidelines accurately.

Strong communication, organization, and customer support skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and spreadsheets, along with the ability to work onsite in Franklin, Massachusetts.
