Controls Technician

Travel Requirements: This position involves approximately 50% overnight travel. While there is a fair amount of travel, it is generally not overly demanding,

as most trips are within the Midwest and Chicagoland area. However, candidates should be open to occasional travel outside the Midwest, including air travel

when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing, modifying, and troubleshooting PLC logic for automated machinery and equipment

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings

• Performing system startup, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting at customer sites

• Assisting with electrical wiring, panel modifications, and field installations

• Diagnosing and resolving controls, electrical, and automation-related issues

• Collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project execution

• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and system upgrades

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mokena, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
