The Part-Time Line Sanitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary food production environment by cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment, work areas, containers, and assigned assets during operations. This role supports food safety and quality standards by following sanitation procedures, GMPs, safety protocols, and chemical handling requirements while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This is a permanent position with McCain Foods! Enjoy a flexible part-time schedule of up to 30 hours per week, with day shift hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM and an average of 1 to 2 workdays per week. Accountabilities: - Cleans equipment and work areas as assigned by Sanitation Supervisor by following good sanitation practices. - Identifies and corrects unsanitary practices and conditions. - Cleans and sanitizes steel bins, blue barrels, and grey barrels as required. - Assists Process/Packaging Operator cleaning assigned assets. - Ensures hoses are stored properly and water valves are closed when not in use. - Operates Overhead Lift for Sanitation duties. - Strictly adheres to all company and plant policies concerning safety, performing proper Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures, using proper lifting techniques, wearing effectively all personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, proper walking/stepping and all other safety procedure related to your duties. :::
