Part-time Faculty, STEM Careers

Summary of Position Teach part-time courses in STEM Careers introducing the career process for career exploration, development, and research available for STEM freshman and sophomore students. Assist students with focusing on creating a foundation for all good career planning. Aide students with understanding the various majors in STEM, career researching, making good career decisions, and understanding the world of work. Focus on having students develop items such as resumes, cover letters, reference pages and other items that will help them be successful in their job search and career. ## Position Information Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources. Teaching assignments may be remote or at various locations. Primary Location: Multiple Locations. ## Qualifications and Competencies Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: None. Sponsorship and/or Work Authorization Status: Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Minimum Qualifications: At least an earned master's degree in education, higher education, counseling, STEM, or related field; knowledge in teaching courses at a university level and/or related experience in workshops, seminars, or training courses.
