Job Title: Shop Helper Job Description
We're looking for a dependable Shop Helper to join our metal fabrication team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety and can jump in wherever needed throughout the shop. The ideal candidate will have experience with welding, machine operation, and fitting, and be willing to support multiple departments to keep production moving.
Responsibilities

Operate fabrication equipment and machinery as needed.

Perform basic MIG welding and fabrication tasks.

Read blueprints and assist with fitting and assembly projects.

Support production teams with material handling, setup, and shop organization.

Inspect parts for quality and accuracy.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Assist wherever needed to support daily production goals.
Essential Skills
-
Experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.

Ability to weld, fit, and operate shop machinery.

Comfortable reading tape measures, blueprints, and shop drawings.

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift.

Reliable attendance and team-oriented attitude.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
