Provide overall leadership and direction for Plant 6D operations, ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives. Lead and develop the team to execute operational strategies in a disciplined, organized, and effective manner while driving performance, continuous improvement, associate engagement, quality, and customer service results.
Responsibilities

Promote a safety-first culture that prioritizes associate well-being across all operations.

Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement to achieve outstanding business results in safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

Foster a culture of respect, trust, and open communication that encourages associates to voice concerns and contribute to continuous improvement.

Lead and develop the salaried leadership team to strengthen performance and achieve operational and business goals.

Develop and execute workforce plans to ensure appropriate staffing levels and operational efficiency across the facility.
-
Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure customer demand is met through effective production planning and execution.
-
Partner with the second-shift supervisor to ensure production and shipping schedules are met, customer delivery commitments are achieved, and products are accurately loaded for distribution.
-
Work cross-functionally with EHS and Engineering to proactively address safety concerns, equipment challenges, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
-
4-year degree and 1+ year of Supervisory experience or High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of previous Supervisory experience
-
3+ years previous Distribution experience required.
-
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through written correspondence, presentations, and interpersonal interactions.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and other business-related software systems.
-
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven ability to drive performance, execute priorities, and achieve business objectives.
-
Willingness and ability to travel to regional warehouse locations as needed.
-
Proven track record of proactively identifying opportunities and achieving measurable results.
-
Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance and transportation regulations preferred.
