  • Experience with custom‑designed or highly engineered equipment, ideally in nuclear, power generation, heavy industrial, or similarly regulated environments.

  • Working knowledge of ASME codes and standards (e.g., Section III, Section VIII, NQA‑1, NOG-1) or equivalent quality frameworks.

  • Technical evaluation skills, including supplier capability assessment, bid evaluation, and design compliance review.

  • Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes such as machining, welding, pressure‑boundary fabrication, and inspection methods.

  • Ability to interface with engineering teams to translate design intent into procurement requirements and supplier deliverables.

  • Experience supporting procurement or engineering activities within a nuclear facility, DOE project, or commercial nuclear vendor, including Advanced Reactors or Small Modular Reactors.

  • Familiarity with configuration management, change control, and nonconformance resolution processes.

  • Knowledge of material traceability, quality documentation packages, and supplier surveillance practices.

  • Experience with project‑based procurement, including schedule integration and risk management.

  • Exposure to complex engineered systems such as heat exchangers, pumps, pressure vessels, remote‑handling equipment, or fuel handling equipment.
