Product Line Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Product Line Manager in Fort Mill, SC. This individual will help manage the full lifecycle of rental equipment fleet, including acquisition strategy, supplier management, lifecycle planning, maintenance support, utilization optimization, and asset disposition. The ideal candidate will have experience managing capital equipment, fleet assets, construction equipment categories, or supplier relationships and will possess strong analytical skills related to total cost of ownership and equipment profitability. This role serves as a strategic partner across Operations, Sales, Procurement, and Marketing while helping shape fleet decisions that directly impact company profitability. Candidates with backgrounds in equipment rental, heavy machinery, fleet management, strategic sourcing, category management, or asset management will be highly successful in this position.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 2+ years of product lifecycle management, fleet management, category management, asset management, or related experience

• Experience managing capital equipment or construction equipment assets

• Strong analytical skills with experience performing cost analysis and total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluations Construction equipment rental industry experience

• Experience with fleet strategy or fleet optimization programs

• National contract negotiation experience

• Equipment manufacturer background (CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, JLG, Genie, John Deere, etc.)

• Project management experience

• MBA

• Experience with equipment lifecycle planning and resale/disposal strategies
