As a member of the AT Advanced Surface Integrated Sensors (AISS) team, this Program Manager position directly supports the Deputy Director of AT-AISS in the management of the AT business.
This is an onsite role and can be located at one of the following Raytheon locations; San Diego, CA or Arlington, VA.
What You Will Do

Identify new business opportunities

Prepare and present presentations to customers/internal management

Lead and/or coordinate the development of proposals, statements of work and specifications, estimation of product/service costs
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 8 years of prior engineering experience
-
Experience in Contract Research & Development in areas such as new business capture, proposal development, technology evaluation, program management, technical contribution, or related contract development experience
Qualifications We Prefer
-
MS in Engineering, Sciences, or Management
-
Program Management Certification or knowledge of PM lifecycle
-
Experience with business tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Project and Documentation management sites such as SharePoint
-
Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
-
Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience
-
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARS)
-
Experience in obtaining Intellectual Property on emerging technologies
-
Experience leading Internal Research & Development project
-
An active secret clearance is desired
-
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
-
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task to achieve good results across multiple priorities

Ability to work in a team environment and effectively direct, influence, motivate and supervise team members

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
