This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/13671893 Prepare corn stalk and wheat/rye pasture with temporary wire, receive and place stocker cattle on wheat, rye and corn stalks for grazing, feed cattle to supplement diet, monitor animal health, service livestock equipment; break ice in watering facilities; pull cattle off stalks (prior to planting) and wheat/rye (at hollow stem); sell cattle; move cattle with stock trailer; Must speak English. Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries. The employer shall provide transportation in the form of bus, farm vehicle, van, or other common means between the place where the employer has provided housing to the actual work site and return at the end of the workday. Such transportation will be without cost to the worker, and the means of transportation shall meet all applicable safety standards. Daily transportation is also available at no cost to workers who do not reside in employer provided housing and are unable to return to their primary residence at the end of each day.
