Full job description

As a Analyst - Commercial Analytics, you will help translate Commercial Excellence strategy into an integrated, measurable, and executable portfolio of initiatives, products, and capabilities. You will be responsible for measuring initiative performance, maintaining portfolio visibility, facilitating cross-functional planning and execution, and helping initiative leaders remove barriers that prevent work from advancing.

You will work closely with the Vice President of Commercial Excellence, to help develop reporting and operating routines that provide visibility into portfolio performance, translate data into actionable insights, and support disciplined execution. You will also help ensure Commercial Excellence investments deliver meaningful commercial outcomes through effective analysis, executive communication, and hands-on delivery coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytical reports showing Commercial Excellence initiative health, progress, value realization, risks, dependencies, and decisions required.

  • Create and maintain a consolidated view of Commercial Excellence initiatives, capabilities, epics, products, milestones, owners, dependencies, and expected outcomes.

  • Analyze performance trends to distinguish among delivery progress, adoption, operational use, and realized commercial impact; identify opportunities and areas requiring additional focus.

  • Identify initiatives that are off track, stalled, underused, or not demonstrating sufficient evidence of value, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

  • Help teams identify and remove impediments while escalating barriers outside the team’s authority.

  • Follow up with initiative owners, surface missed commitments, and escalate unresolved barriers with appropriate context and proposed options.

  • Conduct research and analysis to support Commercial Excellence and broader commercial decision making, translating data and information into actionable insights.

  • Support cross-functional initiatives by providing data, analysis, information, and insights as needed.

  • Collaborate with analysts and cross-functional partners on reporting, analysis, and portfolio initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Information Systems, Marketing, or Mathematics preferred

  • 2 years of experience analyzing data to identify insights required

  • 1 year of experience working with relational databases (e.g., AWS, Teradata, MS SQL Server, Azure, MS Access, etc.) required

  • 1 year of experience working in business-to-business (B2B) selling environments preferred

  • Proficiency in mathematical calculations and concepts (e.g., algebra, geometry) required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; highly proficient in Excel required

  • Critical thinking skills; demonstrated ability to turn data into information and insights required

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information in a straightforward manner using precise language, especially to non-technical audiences required

  • Experience working with CRM systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.

  • Experience creating data visualizations, reports, or dashboards using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, OBIEE, etc.) preferred

  • Experience with PowerPoint preferred

  • Experience with financial modeling preferred

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum teams preferred

  • Familiarity with statistical/probabilistic calculations and concepts required; proficiency preferred

  • Familiarity with SQL or other data-oriented programming languages required; proficiency preferred

  • Familiarity with data science concepts preferred
