About the Role: As the Senior Accountant at VulcanForms, you will support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, analyzing financial data, and supporting inventory and cost accounting processes. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments as part of the monthly close process - Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records - Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying and resolving variances - Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for key balance sheet accounts - Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and management analyses - Assist with ERP system processes, data validation, and continuous improvement initiatives - Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions - Provide audit support by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to auditor requests - Help maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls to support accurate financial reporting - Support inventory and cost accounting processes as needed - Perform additional accounting and finance-related duties as assigned Qualifications: - Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - 3?5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment - Understanding of general accounting principles and financial statement preparation - Familiarity with ERP systems; Epicor experience preferred - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliations - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualification: - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or progress toward certification Compensation: - Annual base salary: $80,805 to $111,106 - Competitive equity package *Actual compensation depends on the candidate?s skills, qualifications, and experience.
