Job Description

Drive the development and evolution of healthcare payment solutions by translating customer needs, market insights, and business priorities into impactful product outcomes.

As a Product Manager, Vice President on the Healthcare Payments Consumer Receivables and Digital Channels team, you will own and drive key product domains within our merchant acceptance and payment device portfolio. You will identify market opportunities, incorporate customer and industry insights into the product roadmap, and partner with engineering, operations, risk, sales, and client-facing teams to deliver scalable payment solutions. Acting as the voice of the customer, you will define requirements, prioritize investments, and lead product initiatives through the software development lifecycle to enhance healthcare payment experiences and deliver measurable business value.

Job responsibilities

  • Define and execute product strategy, roadmap, and priorities for healthcare payment solutions, including payment devices, card processing, eCheck, and merchant funding capabilities.

  • Identify market opportunities and customer needs through client engagement, industry research, competitive analysis, and data-driven insights.

  • Develop business cases and product recommendations that align customer needs with organizational objectives.

  • Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and compliant solutions from discovery through launch.

  • Translate customer needs and market requirements into functional requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs.

  • Monitor product, operational, and financial performance metrics to inform product decisions and roadmap priorities.

  • Collaborate with risk, compliance, legal, and controls partners to ensure products meet regulatory, security, and business requirements.

  • Develop expertise in the healthcare payments landscape, including patient payments, premium payments, provider collections, and emerging digital payment experiences, to support product strategy and innovation.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of product management experience, or equivalent experience in payments, fintech, healthcare technology, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience owning product strategy, roadmap development, and product delivery.

  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, agile methodologies, customer discovery, and requirements definition.

  • Ability to influence and drive alignment across technical, commercial, operational, and executive stakeholders.

  • Experience analyzing market trends, customer feedback, and performance data to inform product decisions.

  • Self-starter, effective at prioritizing tasks, managing time, expectations, organizing people, and getting things done

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.

  • Experience with healthcare payment technologies, merchant acquiring, card processing, ACH/eCheck, payment devices, or digital payment channels.

  • Knowledge of the healthcare payments landscape, including patient payments, premium payments, healthcare revenue cycle workflows, and consumer payment experiences.

  • Familiarity with PCI DSS, EMV, NACHA, and payment network standards.

  • Understanding of healthcare industry trends, payment modernization initiatives, and regulatory considerations.

  • Experience with ISV integrations, healthcare software ecosystems, or healthcare fintech platforms.This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. As such, an employment offer for this position is contingent on JPMorganChase’s review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries.
