Top Secret C# .NET Developer

Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a C# .NET Developer with a Top Secret clearance to join a mission critical program in Charleston, SC. This role is focused on re-engineering and doing new feature development for an application that currently resides on a Windows OS server infrastructure but must be moved to a RHEL based system within the next 2 years. If you have 4+ years of experience in C# and .NET development with both web and server based applications, then this would be an exciting role contributing to the readiness of the US Military and a great fit for you. Requirements:

• Maintain software with C# and C++ for Windows platforms.

• Develop software with C# for Linux/Unix platforms.

• Use ASP.NET to implement web frontend.

• Collaborate on system architecture and contribute internal technical documentation.

• Gather, infer, and document requirements from internal product owners and external teams. Maintain and improve GitLab build pipeline as needed.

• Collaborate with a small development team to implement complex features and build/document shared system knowledge.

• Write SQL for database schema modification and queries.

• Write scripts in Bash (Linux/Unix; Red Hat and Debian preferred) and PowerShell (Windows).

• Code within compliance of current Information Assurance policies and instructions. The compensation range for this position varies from $100,000 to $130,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Skills and Requirements

• Currently possess and maintain a Top Secret Level Security Clearance
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Strong customer relations, documentation, and oral communication skills Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and commitment to quality
• A passion for learning about, and working in the IT industry
• BS Degree in Computer Science or similar
• 5+ years of C# software development experience
• Ability to secure a CompTIA Security+ CE certification or equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience with Linux (Red Hat preferred)
• Experience with static analyzers, such as Fortify, is a plus Experience in a software development methodology (e.g., Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps) environment is a strong plus
• Experience with containerized applications is a strong plus
• Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies
• Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification
