Overview We are seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer to support our growing Solid Waste practice. Candidates with 3+ years of experience in civil, environmental, or solid waste engineering are encouraged to apply. In this role, you'll support the design, permitting, construction, and operation of municipal and industrial landfills, transfer stations, recycling facilities, composting facilities, and other solid waste infrastructure. The position is preferably based in Madison, WI, but candidates located throughout Wisconsin and Midwest states will also be considered. Responsibilities Engineering design, project support, and project management for a variety of solid waste engineering projects. Design and support municipal and industrial landfills, transfer stations, materials recovery facilities (MRF), recycling centers, and related solid waste infrastructure. Provide planning, design, and construction support for landfill gas collection systems, leachate management systems, landfill closures, post-closure care, and construction quality assurance. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects from planning and permitting through design and construction. Support additional civil engineering projects involving site development, stormwater management, drainage, grading, geotechnical engineering, and related infrastructure, as needed.
