If you have experience leading structured cabling teams, installing fiber and copper infrastructure, reading blueprints, and driving production on large commercial or data center projects, we want to talk to you ASAP.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Lead Technician/Foreman, you'll play a key role in managing crews and ensuring successful project execution. You'll initially oversee a team of approximately 6 technicians while getting familiar with the project. As construction ramps up, you'll transition into leading crews of 20+ technicians across large-scope buildings.

Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate daily activities for installation crews

Perform hands-on installation while managing team productivity

Oversee OSP Fiber, ISP Fiber, and Cat6 infrastructure installations

Route and install cable tray systems, J-hooks, and structured cabling pathways

Read and interpret blueprints and project drawings

Ensure technicians have the proper materials, tools, equipment, and direction each day

Communicate project updates, productivity, and workforce needs to Site Superintendents

Maintain quality standards, site safety, and installation accuracy

Work collaboratively with customers, project stakeholders, and other trades

Address field challenges professionally and help resolve conflicts when they arise

Assist with manpower planning, performance management, and workforce accountability

Required ExperienceMust Have:

• Data Center or Large Commercial Structured Cabling Experience

• Cat6 Installation

• Fiber Optic Installation & Termination

• J-Hooks & Cable Tray Experience

• Blueprint Reading

• Leadership / Foreman Experience

• Strong Customer-Facing Communication Skills

• Ability to Work Effectively with Multiple Trades

Certifications Required Before Starting:

• OSHA 10

• Lift Certification

Tools Required:

• Personal hand tools

• Cordless drill

All major project-specific tools will be provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of El Paso, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
