Full job description
Job Type: Formulator Schedule: Eight-hour shift, Monday Friday; 40-hours/week (Occasional OT) (1/2-hour, unpaid lunch and two 10-minute paid breaks) Probationary period: 480-hours worked Benefits: Upon Hire: Free Telemedicine Program, Employee Assistance Services, Disability Insurance and $10/month toward Employee Perk Program (Belcam Beauty Products) Job description: Able to mix chemicals following a formula sheet and instructions Knowledge of weighing chemicals and basic math is a must Experience in manufacturing products (e.g. body & hair care, fragrances) Work with both cold mix and hot mix emulsions is ideal Experience with mixers, pumps and all related manufacturing equipment is a plus Follow established written procedures is critical Qualifications: Able to read and write neatly Able to lift up to 50-pounds unassisted Previous pharmaceutical, cosmetic or food industry experience is preferred Requirements: Must be able to do the following: Tolerate perfume odors Must be capable of standing and/or walking for extended periods of time. Follow all ISO 22716 rules and procedures, including wearing a hair net and beard net Follow all established safety rules and procedures Adhere to requirements of C-TPAT certification Maintain good attendance Cooperate with supervisors, managers, and fellow employees Always adhere to company rules and policies Available to work overtime as workload dictates Background check required
