Full job description

NVIDIA is searching for an outstanding computer vision and deep learning intern researcher to join the spatial intelligence lab. We are passionate about research that pushes boundaries but also has impact in the real world!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Research, design and implement methods for one of the key research topics of the team: generative AI for videos, reconstruction, simulation, video understanding, policy learning, reinforcement learning, VLMs.
  • Publish original research at the end of the internship.
  • Collaborate with other team members and teams.
  • Collaborate with external researchers.

What we need to see:

  • Must currently be at least a second-year Ph.D. student in, e.g., Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics.
  • Excellent knowledge of theory and practice of computer vision methods, as well as deep learning.
  • Excellent programming skills in some rapid prototyping environment such as Python; C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA)
  • Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch.
  • Outstanding research track record.
  • Very good publication record in computer vision, with a minimum of 2 papers (1 as main author) published at top venues CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Good knowledge of version control systems, e.g., git.

Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay based on the position, your location, year in school, degree, and experience. The hourly rate for our interns is 38 USD - 94 USD. You will also be eligible for Intern benefits. ​
