Schedule: flexible based on assignment Travel: ~ 90%, sometimes up to 100% based on assignment Location: anywhere in US; able to get to major airport frequently DATA COLLECTION SPECIALIST - Level II 1. Performs information gathering for data analytics, including asset tagging and data collection. 2. Experience with performing data collection on building systems (HVAC, refrigeration, point of sale). 3. Preferable but not essential to have additional experience with IoT devices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Conducts walk-through surveys to assess condition of Property development. 2. Must safely access roofs when part of work scope. 3. Takes photographs of representative systems and conditions. 4. Performs other duties as assigned. 5. Logging information into a client database. 6. Must adhere to client site visit protocols. 7. Travel is required potentially up to 100% of the time, for periods of time. 8. Must be able to problem solve and use critical thinking skills to help solution through basic to moderate-level complexity of projects. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. No direct supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE 1. Ability to travel up to 90% of the time 2. High school diploma required. 3. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in engineering, construction management, sciences, IT, or related field a plus. 4. Candidate must have strong time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet scheduled deadlines. 5. Must be proficient with using an iPad/iPhone and iOS systems. CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES 1. Driver's License 2. OSHA 10-Hour Safety Course COMMUNICATION SKILLS 1. Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret issues related to property conditions and communicate with team members and potential clients on a collaborative basis. 2. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, consultative, and exceptional customer service skills. 3. Ability to maintain confidentiality while eliciting relevant information from contacts. 4. Ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor and/or management. REASONING ABILITY 1. Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES 1. Competency with an ability to adapt to various programs, apps and web platforms for data gathering word processing, spreadsheet functions, communications, project tracking, etc. 2. Excellent time management and organizational skills. 3. Must be self-motivated and team oriented. 4. The position requires simultaneously managing deliverables for multiple ongoing assignments. Estimated compensation for this position: 45,000.00 - 80,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
