Full job description
The Sr. Consolidation Accountant supports the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of North American financial reporting and consolidation activities. This role prepares quarterly financial statements, administers consolidation financial system and compensation-related processes, coordinates regulatory and compliance reporting, and partners with Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and other stakeholders to meet internal and external reporting requirements. Responsibilities include:

Prepare quarterly financial statements for CertainTeed, LLC, including supporting schedules and related analyses, in accordance with applicable accounting and reporting requirements.

Support the financial consolidation and reporting process by reviewing financial data, investigating variances, and helping ensure accurate and timely submissions.

Serve as a system administrator for the FCCS Oracle Consolidation database.

Partner with the Human Resources Compensation team to administer the U.S. Stock Saving Plan database, including reviews of grant units, monthly compensation expense calculations, and validation of participant payouts.

Complete mandatory government surveys for North American entities and coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain accurate and timely information.

Support the Legal team’s annual Hart-Scott-Rodino filing process related to U.S. acquisitions by gathering and validating information.

Maintain effective documentation for assigned reporting, system administration, compensation, and compliance processes.

Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders and provide supporting documentation for compliance.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

3+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting or consolidation experience.

Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and financial statement preparation.

Experience with financial consolidation systems and large, complex data sets.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyse, reconcile, and communicate financial information.

Experience with integrated ERP and financial reporting systems is a plus.

Ability to operate within established accounting and reporting guidelines.

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.-
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $89,650 to $139,150. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
