About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and technically curious Associate Solutions Architect to join our growing team.

In this role, you'll work closely with our Sales and Solutions Architecture teams to help customers understand the value of Salt Security's API security platform. You'll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge cybersecurity technology while developing your technical, communication, and customer-facing skills.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their technical career who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and working with customers.

What You'll Do

• Support Solutions Architects throughout the technical implementation process, including product deployment, technical discovery, architecture design and proof-of-value (POV) engagements.

• Help customers understand API security challenges and how Salt Security can address their needs.

• Assist with platform deployments, integrations, and technical evaluations.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver a positive customer and prospect experience.

• Develop technical knowledge of APIs, cloud environments, application security, and Salt Security's platform.

• Prepare technical presentations, documentation, and demonstration environments.

• Troubleshoot technical questions and help identify solutions during customer evaluations.

• Continuously learn and stay current with cybersecurity technologies and industry trends.

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in a technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Technical Support, Software Engineering, IT, or Cybersecurity.

• Basic understanding of APIs, REST, HTTP, and web application architecture.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Strong technical curiosity and a passion for cybersecurity.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.

• Kubernetes or other container experience.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable taking ownership.
