Accounting Manager

Robert Half is partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its accounting leadership team. The Accounting Manager will oversee general ledger accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, month-end close, and operational accounting activities across multiple entities and locations. The Accounting Manager will partner with finance, operations, and executive leadership while helping improve accounting processes and internal controls. Prior management experience is required as you will manage a small offshore team. This is a hybrid position that will require you to be in office at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

• Maintain general ledger accuracy and financial reporting integrity.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Reconcile bank accounts, payroll activity, and credit card transactions.

• Collaborate with operational leaders on inventory, labor, and expense reporting.

• Assist with audits, tax support, and compliance requirements.

• Support accounting process improvements and automation initiatives.

• Provide oversight of accounting support resources.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience.

• Prior supervisory or management experience.

• Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge.

• ERP experience required, Restaurant 365 is plus.

• Experience within restaurant, hospitality, retail, food & beverage, or multi-unit organizations highly preferred.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical abilities.
