Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator

Full Time Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator Performs paraprofessional level work involved in performing case management work for an assigned caseload of Section 8 families. The work involves responsibility for planning, developing, implementing and overseeing programs, designed to increase the self-sufficiency of low-income families and thereby reduce their need for subsidized programs and services. The incumbent is also responsible for planning and coordinating a variety of programs and services for qualified residents of the Paterson Housing Authority Section 8 Department. The work is performed under general supervision of the Director of Leasing and Occupancy, with considerable leeway allowed for independent judgment and action in planning activities for and with individuals and groups.
