Full job description

Monitors, educates and counsels patients/participants enrolled in lifestyle modification programs such as cardiopulmonary rehab and other primary/secondary prevention programs. This is a Full-time position!

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health-related field (e.g., exercise science, nursing) required

  • Master’s Degree preferred

  • Certification related to field (e.g., ACSM, ACE, AACUPR)

  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date required

  • ACLS certification through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date preferred

  • We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and lifestyle modification skills

  • Demonstrated ability in interpersonal communication (verbal and written) skills.

  • Demonstrated ability in computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience minimum

  • Diabetes Care/Prevention experience preferred.

SALARY RANGE

  • $25.83-$37.98/hour‎

  • Starting wage dependent upon experience, education, and skill set

  • Annual Bonuses to eligible PRN employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
