Summary:

We’re on a mission to build the next computing platform by putting people at the center of emerging hardware and software technologies, whether on the go with wearables and augmented reality, in the home or at work, or fully immersed in alternate virtual reality worlds. The Meta Reality Labs Commercial team focuses on driving growth across our portfolio of Wearables and VR devices to achieve this mission. We are looking for an experienced Monetization & Business Economics Manager to drive sustainable growth for the Wearables business. This person will be responsible for building the financial frameworks that inform how we scale across products, channels, and markets. Experience developing commercial strategies informed by financial analysis, partnering cross-functionally with stakeholders, and navigating ambiguous problem spaces to deliver actionable plans.

Monetization & Business Economics Manager Responsibilities:

Own financial and unit economics analysis across products, channels, and markets to inform commercial strategies that lead to sustainable growth

Build financial models and business cases to evaluate new market entry, product launches, and go-to-market strategies

Define commercial KPIs that enable data-driven commercial decisions

Partner with Finance, Sales, and Operations to shape commercial planning

Synthesize insights into clear strategic recommendations for leadership
Minimum Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in product management, go-to-market, or management consulting

Experience building financial models, including P&L analysis and unit economics, to inform business decisions

Experience in analyzing complex, long-term, critical problems and driving solutions for them

Track record of building cross-functional partnerships to shape go-to-market strategies

High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to create execution plans where none existed

Bachelor’s degree

Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

Experience and/or domain knowledge in AI, augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, wearable devices, mobile devices, and/or hardware/software platforms

Public Compensation:
$130,000/year to $188,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
