As Program Manager IV, you will manage all aspects of assigned projects and serve as a single point of contact. In this role, you will lead and manage multiple medium- to large-sized projects, leveraging advanced project management tools to deliver results. You will accomplish project objectives by planning, coordinating, and evaluating project activities.

A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

After 90 days, the position offers a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days working from home. Based on project needs, travel to other facilities may be required.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects and provide a single point of contact.

  • Lead and manage multiple medium- to large-sized projects, leveraging advanced project management tools to deliver results.

  • Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.

  • Prepare and complete action plans.

  • Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.

  • Complete audits and identify trends.

  • Determine system improvements and implement changes.

  • Meet financial objectives by participating in the development of forecasting requirements.

  • Participate in preparing the annual budget and scheduling expenditures.

  • Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions.

  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

  • Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Lead enterprise-wide projects across Nursing Operations, including high-visibility initiatives that may scale across locations.

  • Manage multiple projects of varying size, complexity, and scope, typically 5-15 projects.

  • Partner with nursing leadership and enterprise shared services to support strategic initiatives.

  • Lead projects involving workforce planning, staffing efficiency, recruitment and retention, and care models.

  • Support Information Technology (IT), virtual care, artificial intelligence (AI), quality, patient safety, and healthcare-associated infection (HAI) initiatives.

  • Manage projects that may include the Nursing enterprise's infusion pump portfolio, partnering with IT, Clinical Engineering, Pharmacy, Supply Chain, and vendors.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and anticipate the needs of Nursing and nursing leadership.

  • Track project deliverables, timelines, and project-specific key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure successful outcomes.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field and five years project management experience in assigned area which may include experience in implementing and supporting a major IT system in a clinical or system analyst capacity, experience involving complex financial system applications, etc.

  • OR Master's degree and four years of experience

  • Experience creating and maintaining a project plan from inception through completion

  • Effective relationship building skills

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Master's degree

  • Project Management Certification (PMP)

  • Healthcare or nursing experience

  • Experience working with C Suite stakeholders

  • Project management experience across a broad scope of disciplines

  • Understanding of healthcare operations, ideally nursing workflows and culture

  • Ability to anticipate needs, identify issues, and develop practical solutions for complex operational challenges

  • Strong ability to manage timelines, deliverables, priorities, and project-specific KPIs

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.

  • May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.

  • Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.

  • Must have own transportation to travel to multiple sites.

Pay Range

Minimum Annual Salary: $84,200.00

Maximum Annual Salary: $128,412.50

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).
