R&D Programmer/Set-up Machinist

Gray Ops CNC is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Set-up Machinist to assist with new product development and precision manufacturing. This is a hands-on position involving CNC programming, machine setups, troubleshooting, and taking new products from prototype through full production. Responsibilities: Program 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centers using CAD/CAM software. Set up, prove out, and optimize new machining programs. Develop tooling, fixturing, and efficient machining strategies. Troubleshoot machining issues and improve existing processes. Perform dimensional inspections and maintain quality standards. Work alongside engineering to transition new products into production. Qualifications: 5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred. Strong CNC programming and setup experience. Fusion 360 experience preferred. 5-axis machining experience is a plus. Strong understanding of tooling, workholding, and machining processes. Ability to work independently, solve problems, and take ownership of projects.
