Eastern Industrial Automation is a well-established International Industrial Distributor of Mechanical, Automation, Pneumatic, Hydraulic products offering a broad offering of Engineering Services and System design solutions.

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and thrive on keeping things moving? We're looking for someone who can juggle multiple orders, chase down answers, and keep customers informed every step of the way.

We are currently seeking a Sales Expeditor Administrator in Lancaster, MA with strong organizational and administrative skills and the desire to be part of and collaborate with a hard-working team. This is a 100% in-office job, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.

Wage - $24. - $28. /Hour based on experience and an excellent benefits package.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - The following list of essential job functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary based on business needs.

  • Track open sales orders daily and proactively follow up with suppliers on order status, confirmations, and shipment dates

  • Expedite orders at risk of delay by escalating with vendors and communicating updated timelines to the sales team and customers

  • Monitor and update lead times across a range of domestic and international suppliers, factoring in manufacturing type (stocked vs. make-to-order) and part complexity

  • Reconcile order acknowledgments against purchase orders to catch pricing, quantity, or date discrepancies early

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of order status, expected delivery dates, and communication history

  • Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales departments to resolve fulfillment issues quickly

  • Provide clear, timely status updates to customers and account managers on delayed or expedited items

  • Flag recurring supplier delays or bottlenecks and support process improvements

  • Complete and manage compliance paperwork and surveys for customer accounts and transactions

SPECIFIC EDUCATION, JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Solid work history.

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through — nothing falls through the cracks

  • Comfortable managing a high volume of open orders and shifting priorities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfortable learning ERP/order management systems

  • Desire to work with cutting-edge industrial automation products and a global supplier network

  • Clear, confident communicator who can push for answers from suppliers and keep customers calm and informed

  • Previous experience in order management, purchasing, or logistics is a plus, but not required
