What Will You Do?As the Facilities Manager of Safety & Security at Pine Rest, you’ll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. The Facilities Manager of Safety & Security oversees the facility environment and site and manages the Safety and Security Department. The Facilities Manager of Safety & Security are dedicated to excellent customer service, enthusiastic about the care we offer, and foster a sense of belonging and empowerment in a diverse workplace.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand fundamental concepts of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Emergency Response and the Incident Command system; ensure the accurate reporting and recording of all incidents and issues, especially anomalies

Administer Safety Program; semi-annual review and revise the security Emergency Response plan; participate, lead and maintain local emergency action plans; manage site level emergency programs including; maintaining required documentation and administration of Emergency Response and Building Evacuation Teams

Establish working relationships with outside community stakeholders including law enforcement and local fire departments

Promote the global employee health and safety program to ensure assigned locations conform to government safety and health regulations including the proper reporting of injuries, illness and safety hazards

Participate in meetings and partner with client representatives to ensure proper utilization and execution of security programs

Provide budgetary inputs and assist the senior level management in the efficient management of allocated site budget. Manage budgets. Generate and present regular reports and reviews of facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures and purchases.

Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, furniture installations, and facility expansion.

Plans budgets and schedules facility modifications, including cost estimates.

Inspects construction and installation progress.

Conduct and document regular facilities inspections.

Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes.

Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency.

Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations.
-
Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers.
-
Negotiate contracts to optimize delivery and cost saving.
-
Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers.
-

Manage contractor and vendor relationships.

Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met.

Advise on and monitor energy efficiency.

Oversee environmental health and safety.

Respond to facility and equipment alarms and systems failure.

Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants.
What Does This Role Require?
Education/Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of security, safety, or law enforcement experience in a supervisory or management capacityWork history to include demonstrated knowledge of security and safety inspections and electronic security systemsPrior work experience implementing safety and security measures in response to identifiable hazards, preferably in a corporate environment\Required to have a valid Michigan driver’s license and ability access to access Pine Rest Transportation Vehicles for the performance of job dutiesBenefits:
