Project Manager

Title: Project Manager Reports to: VP, Senior Estimator, & Senior Project Manager - Large Contracts Supervises: None Purpose of Position: The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing a project, or multiple projects, from the time a project is awarded, throughout the various phases: shop drawing, submittal, purchasing, measuring, scheduling, fabrication, installation, and finally, project completion. # Essential Duties: 1. Responsible for submittals, which include the following: 2. Submit shop drawings 3. Product literature 4. Samples and color charts for approval 5. Responsible for completion of material takeoff/optimization. 6. Responsible for material purchasing, which includes ordering all necessary materials for a given project. 7. Responsible for attending job site meetings weekly and/or bi-weekly as required by the general contractor. 8. Coordinate with shop fabricators and field installation personnel on projects. 9. Responsible for field measuring, which includes obtaining field measurements as necessary. 10. Coordinate with Drafting to revise shop drawings accordingly. 11. Responsible for attending contract meetings. 12. Responsible for project progress, which includes the following: 13. Monitor project progress 14. Quality assurance 15. Project budget 16. Preparing and Submitting Change-Orders 17. Responsible for project closeout, which includes providing all necessary closeout documents and warranties. {=html} 1.
