FP&A Manager

Description We are looking for an FP& A Manager to join a growing finance organization in Macedon, New York on a Long-term Contract basis. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a finance specialist who excels at building models, interpreting operational and financial performance, and turning complex data into actionable recommendations for leadership. The role calls for a self-directed contributor who can work independently, support planning activities, and help strengthen decision-making through forecasting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain detailed financial models that support forecasting, planning, and performance evaluation across the business.

• Review financial and operational results to identify trends, explain variances, and surface meaningful insights for senior leaders.

• Prepare clear reporting materials and analysis packages that support leadership presentations and business reviews.

• Partner with stakeholders to deliver data-driven recommendations that improve planning accuracy and business visibility.

• Extract, organize, and analyze information from enterprise systems and other data sources to support finance initiatives.

• Use advanced Excel capabilities and related tools to streamline analysis and improve reporting efficiency.

• Contribute hands-on support for planning cycles, forecast updates, and ad hoc analytical requests as business needs evolve.

• Participate in knowledge-transfer meetings during onboarding, including occasional early evening sessions in the first one to two weeks if needed. Requirements • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a closely related field.

• Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical problem-solving.

• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work confidently in large and complex datasets.

• Experience creating presentations and analysis for senior leadership audiences.

• Familiarity with Power Query or AI-enabled productivity tools is preferred; willingness to learn Power Query is important if not already experienced.

• Exposure to SAP or S/4HANA is helpful but not required.

• Proven ability to manage priorities independently in a remote work environment while meeting deadlines.
