Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Role summary:

The Producer, AI Productions is the day-to-day operations lead for Walmart Creative's Generative AI site imagery program — owning workflow, scheduling, artist management, and delivery to ensure AI-generated content ships on time, on brief, and at the quality the brand demands. You keep the pipeline moving, the briefs clear, and the team never blocked.

About the team:

The Post Production team at Walmart Creative spans editorial, VFX, CG, audio, photo retouching, and a fast-growing Generative AI practice producing site imagery at enterprise scale. Operating from the LA Studio in Los Angeles, the team functions as a true in-house production studio — cross-disciplinary, fast-moving, and serious about craft. The GenAI program works in close partnership with art directors, designers, creative directors, and site editorial partners, with the Producer role serving as the connective tissue that keeps every workstream coordinated and every deliverable accounted for.

What you'll do:

  • Own the day-to-day production schedule for all GenAI site imagery — assigning briefs, sequencing workloads, and tracking every project from kickoff through delivery.

  • Serve as the operational link between creative direction and AI production — translating art director intent into actionable briefs and ensuring feedback drives short, productive revision cycles.

  • Facilitate review and approval workflows — coordinating sessions, consolidating notes, and tracking approval status across all active projects.

  • Manage GenAI artist capacity — monitoring workloads and flagging resource needs proactively.

  • Own the delivery pipeline — managing file organization, QC checkpoints, and final handoff.

  • Track throughput and delivery performance data to continuously improve program quality.

What you'll bring:

  • 4–6 years in production management or creative operations, with direct experience managing high-volume image or digital content production.

  • Strong working knowledge of Generative AI image workflows — enough to brief artists accurately, assess output quality, and identify production friction.

  • Advanced Airtable proficiency for project tracking, workload management, and leadership-facing dashboards.

  • Strong creative literacy — able to read a brief, assess whether AI output is meeting it, and communicate the gap in specific, actionable terms.

  • Clear, proactive communicator who surfaces risks early and keeps all stakeholders accurately informed.

  • Experience with e-commerce or retail site imagery production and managing freelance creative talent preferred.
