The IT Product Lead – Digital Marketing and eCommerce is responsible for defining and executing the digital marketing technology strategy that supports commercial growth, customer engagement, demand generation, product marketing, and e-commerce across a global agriscience and crop protection business.
This role will serve as the primary technology partner to Commercial related business processes and Digital teams. The IT Product Lead owns the product roadmap, delivery, operations, governance, and continuous evolution of digital marketing platforms including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and B2B platforms (SAP Commerce Cloud).
The successful candidate will possess demonstrable expertise in digital marketing technologies, commercial business processes, customer experience platforms, and enterprise product management. The individual must demonstrate an ability to translate complex business objectives into scalable technology solutions that support growers, retailers, distributors, agronomists, channel partners, and internal commercial users.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary IT product lead for digital capabilities, including AEM sites, assets, and integrations for CRM, Analytics, ERP, legacy platforms, etc.

Partner with Commercial functions and stakeholders to identify with the development teams the technology solutions to achieve:

Effective customer experiences

Marketing effectiveness

Operational efficiency
-
Content governance
-
Data quality
-
Commercial outcomes
-
Manage and prioritize digital product backlogs/enhancements on technology roadmaps along with the business stakeholders and development teams.

Propose, discuss and gather business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Lead the sprint plannings, backlog refinement, testing, and release activities.
-
Support the development and delivery of digital marketing technology roadmaps i.e. track risks, issues, dependencies and ensure solutions meet defined business outcomes.

Monitor platform adoption and business value realization.

Ensure solutions align with business objectives (OKR’s and KPI’s) and enterprise technology standards defined by the development team.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related business or technology disciplines. Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered where appropriate.

Relevant Product Management, Agile or Adobe certifications e.g. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner, Agile Practitioner Certifications, AEM, SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), etc.

Experience in agriscience, crop protection, biologicals, seed, precision agriculture, ag retail, distribution, or related commercial domains.

Knowledge of Customer Journeys, UX, Analytics, etc.
The ideal candidate will possess:
-
5–8 years’ demonstratable experience in a digital marketing, customer experience, or commercial technology solutions environment.

Demonstratable experience working directly with business stakeholders to define outcomes, priorities, products, KPI’s, OKR’s, features roadmaps, and gather / prioritize requirements to deliver business outcomes.

Working experience supporting digital marketing technologies particularly Adobe Experience Manager and SAP Commerce Cloud.

Understanding of commercial and marketing processes.

Demonstratable working knowledge of B2B digital experiences or customer portals.
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
-
Experience working in Agile environments.
-
Curiosity and willingness to learn the unique needs of the agriscience and crop protection industry.
