Full job description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support sourcing and supplier coordination activities for a manufacturing organization in Bonita Springs, Florida. This Long-term Contract position focuses on organizing quotation requests, maintaining supplier and procurement data, and delivering accurate reporting that helps drive informed purchasing decisions. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to keep sourcing activities on schedule, resolve information gaps, and ensure documentation is complete and well maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and distribute quotation request packages to suppliers, ensuring drawings, specifications, and supporting materials are assembled accurately.

  • Partner with engineering, operations, and other internal stakeholders to collect required details and confirm sourcing documents are complete before release.

  • Monitor request timelines, supplier submissions, and pending items, then provide timely progress updates to the supply chain team.

  • Organize incoming supplier quotes and proposals, maintaining clear records of commercial terms and related documentation.

  • Analyze quotation details by comparing pricing, lead times, tooling costs, minimum order quantities, and other purchasing factors for stakeholder review.

  • Maintain sourcing and supplier information across spreadsheets, databases, and procurement records with a high level of accuracy.

  • Communicate with suppliers regarding submission requirements, deadlines, and follow-up items, escalating exceptions when needed.

  • Prepare reports and data summaries to support cost analysis, supplier performance evaluation, and ongoing sourcing initiatives.

  • Contribute to cross-functional meetings and projects by providing documentation support, activity tracking, and issue follow-up.

  • Identify inconsistencies, missing inputs, or unclear information and coordinate with internal or external contacts to obtain resolution. Requirements • Experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or logistics support within a manufacturing environment.

  • Working knowledge of request for quotation processes and supplier communication practices.

  • Strong analytical ability with experience comparing costs, lead times, and other commercial data.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, organizing, and summarizing supply chain information.

  • Ability to manage documentation with accuracy while handling multiple deadlines and follow-up tasks.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with supplier performance tracking and reporting is preferred.
