Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Market CFO to be the financial quarterback for the New York MLTC/LTSS health plan. This person owns market financial performance, partners directly with market and corporate leadership, and translates financial and operational data into clear recommendations and action plans. This is a strategic, partner facing finance leadership role, not a back office accounting position. This role is hybrid (need to be onsite 2-3 days a week).

Key Responsibilities Own financial performance of the NY health plan, helping leadership understand what is driving results, where risks are emerging, and where opportunities exist Partner closely with the Market President and leadership on growth, profitability, membership, medical costs, and provider strategy Lead budgeting, forecasting, and business planning while monitoring the financial health of the market Analyze financial and operational trends, connect the dots, and turn data into actionable strategy Collaborate across finance, actuarial, operations, network, quality, and clinical teams Engage with state regulators and external stakeholders and navigate the financial impact of regulatory changes Coach and lead the local finance team while serving as a trusted advisor to market and corporate leadership Support provider and partner relationships, including direct engagement when needed

Ideally looking for someone who has sat close to the business as a Market CFO, Health Plan CFO, VP Finance, or senior finance leader within a Medicaid, Medicare, MLTC/LTSS, or managed care environment. Someone who moves easily between executive strategy discussions and the details behind the numbers, and who brings both the technical capability and the warm, collaborative personality needed to partner closely with a founder level market president.

Skills and Requirements

Senior finance leadership experience (Market CFO, Health Plan CFO, VP Finance, AVP, or Senior Director) within a managed care, Medicaid, Medicare, or health plan environment MLTC / LTSS / long term care experience New York market experience with strong understanding of NY specific rules and regulations Relationship oriented with strong executive presence; comfortable speaking directly with providers and partners Senior leadership qualities: sound judgment, decisiveness, and strong instincts Ability to be onsite in the Bronx 2 to 3 days per week Existing relationships with NY regulators, provider groups, or health plan leaders Prior Market CFO or Health Plan CFO experience (candidates ready to step into the role will also be considered)
