Licensed Mental Health Therapist- Syracuse Crisis Intervention and Prevention Program

Overview

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to work Full-Time providing counseling and therapy to patients at ourSyracuse Crisis Intervention and Prevention Program.

The schedule is on a rotation for 3 days a week/12-hour shifts:

• Wed, Thurs, Fri from 9am-9:30pm

• Thurs, Fri, Sat from 9am-9:30pm

In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time Licensed Counselors/Therapists are eligible for aSign-On Incentiveup to$4,000or$8,000depending upon licensure!

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Clinical lead for the team, with primary responsibility for:

• conducting risk assessment

• crisis intervention and de-escalation

• triage and connection to care

• Develop relationships across the city to include community members, local businesses and service/support providers

• Completes necessary documentation and reporting

• Relate effectively with staff, patients, and professional community while upholding appropriate standards of confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be a NYS Licensed Mental Health professional (including but not limited to LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.)

• Additional CASAC strongly preferred

• Two years employment experience in the human services field, experience providing in-community services preferred.
