At Martin Sprocket & Gear, we’re dedicated to producing quality mechanical power transmission components, material handling systems, and custom forgings with excellence, and we're looking for a skilled BI Developer like you!

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain Azure SQL tables and views that support governed reporting.

  • Develop and optimize Power BI semantic models, including relationships, DAX measures, and refresh setup.

  • Move business logic into scalable SQL where appropriate.

  • Monitor scheduled refreshes and troubleshoot failures.

  • Validate reporting outputs against source data and resolve discrepancies.

  • Maintain clear documentation for key metrics, measures, data sources, and business definitions.

  • Support report certification, deployment reviews, and governance standards.

  • Assist business users with ad hoc analysis, self-service reporting, paginated reports, subscriptions, and Analyze in Excel.

  • Help prepare semantic models for AI-enabled reporting, including Copilot and Q&A.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience with T-SQL and Power BI.

  • Experience with DAX and dimensional modeling.

  • Strong SQL skills and experience building reliable reporting datasets.

  • Ability to troubleshoot data issues and validate reporting accuracy.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to trusted, consistent reporting.

  • Clear communication skills and the ability to partner with both technical and business teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with manufacturing, ERP, or operational data.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  • Familiarity with Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, or Azure DevOps.

  • Experience supporting governed BI environments, certified datasets, or self-service reporting users.

Your Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
