Editor
Location: Hybrid (Office in Hudson Yards)
Reports to: Executive Producer
Who we are: Tamara Group is a full-service production company and the executional arm of VaynerX. Our mission is to imagine and bring to life bold, innovative ways for clients to connect with their audiences through content shaped by today’s constantly evolving media landscape. From documentary shorts and music videos to social media series and podcasts, we specialize in end-to-end production—turning vision into reality, from concept to final delivery.
Who you are: As an Editor, you’ll be responsible for shaping raw footage into compelling, polished stories that align with creative goals and client expectations. You’ll collaborate with directors, post producers, creatives, and finishing teams to deliver broadcast-ready and digital-first content that resonates. Ideal candidates are creative problem solvers with a strong storytelling sense, attention to detail, and experience editing branded and commercial content.
Role Summary

Edit commercials, branded content, sizzle reels, social spots, and case studies

Work with directors, producers, and agency creatives to execute editorial vision
-
Interpret scripts, storyboards, and selects into compelling visual stories

Manage full editorial pipeline from ingest, media organization, syncing, to online versioning, conform, and final delivery

Handle multiple deliverables per project, including cutdowns, social formats, and revisions

Implement client and internal feedback with a solutions-first mindset

Collaborate with motion, sound, color, and VFX teams during post

Maintain proper file management and data backup workflows, working closely with Production Operations to maintain company wide workflow standards
Experience & Qualifications
-
3–6+ years of experience editing commercial or branded content
-
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, with knowledge of Resolve
-
Proficient in full Adobe Creative Cloud services (photoshop, etc) and how to bring elements into editorial workflow
-
Strong narrative instincts and editorial rhythm
-
Excellent eye for performance, pacing, and visual composition

Familiar with multi-platform delivery requirements (broadcast, digital, social, OLV)

Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent communication skills
-
Experience with tools such as Frame.io, Dropbox, LucidLink, Slack, Google Drive
Expectations
-
Own the end-to-end editorial workflow, from media ingest, organization, and project setup through offline editing, revisions, quality control, and final exports/delivery

Create and animate text, logos, and on-screen graphics.

Ability to do Premiere Level/ Social First audio editing and color grading
-
Experience in a client-facing role or leading sessions

Prior experience at an editorial house, ad agency, or production company
