Full job description

As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a vital role in enhancing our manufacturing processes by applying your engineering expertise to optimize production efficiency and product quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced manufacturing techniques and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support our operational goals.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of manufacturing operations by developing and implementing innovative manufacturing solutions, analyzing production data, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your work will help drive operational excellence and support the delivery of high-quality aerospace products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced manufacturing technologies and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Analyze production data to identify areas for process improvements and implement corrective actions

YOU MUST HAVE

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics

  • 2+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering or process optimization

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies including automation and process control

  • Experience with data analysis tools and statistical process control to drive manufacturing improvements

  • Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing process simulation tools

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field

  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement innovative manufacturing solutions

  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing standards and regulatory requirements

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects
